Okay so I know that the title says Friday and it's Saturday... let's just say I got distracted with other tasks yesterday and forgot to include this post on my to-do list. Oops! As promised in my other post this week, today's Pinterest post is dedicated to the treats I made when I did my Christmas baking. Enjoy!

Soft Almond Sugar Cookies - probably one of my favorites!

Salted Caramel Pretzel Bark. This didn't work out the best for us but it is really good!
Picture
Avalanche Bars - so good!
Picture
Red Velvet Cheesecake Cookies. Ours didn't turn out as pretty as these because they were probably the hardest cookie we made. They are rich and wonderful but one is plenty!
Picture
Christmas White Trash. I love the name and it's really good!
Picture
Mint Chocolate Chip Bark. I love mint and this is so easy to make!
Picture
Peanut Butter Cheerio Treats. Easy and delicious (I may have even eaten some of these for breakfast a time or two haha)
Picture
Peanut Butter Cup Cookies. So I planned these forgetting that I did not have a pan to make the cups in so we had to make them regular cookies and pushed the PB cups into the cookie while warm. Still taste yummy! :)

This fudge is super easy!!! In the recipe, I left out the cream because I didn't have any on hand but it turned out perfectly! Love fudge! :)
Picture
Toffee Chocolate Crispy Cookies. I found these on one of my favorite blogs (Hi Courtney!) These were the cookies I made the day after because we ran out of time. I made them more bite size but these would be another of my favorites! :)

Peppermint Snickerdoodles. Okay, so for these cookies I did something a little different. I didn't want to use prepackaged sugar cookies, so I used my mom's snickerdoodle recipe. Then when it came to the peppermint part I used Andes Peppermint Crunch candy instead of crushing candy canes and I put it in the batter instead of just rolling the batter in it with the cinnamon and sugar. Hope that made sense ;)
If any of you are wondering about particular recipes or ones that weren't from Pinterest, just let me know!
Do you bake for holidays? What are your favorite recipes?

Hey everyone! So sorry I've been MIA the past week and a half or so... it's been a crazy end to my fall semester! Now that I am on Christmas break (it's hard to believe), I will be more present on my blog! I have a long Christmas break to-do list to tackle but a lot of it is holiday-related or things I've been wanting to do in the free time I haven't had. One thing I'm excited about is making my plans for the blog for next year! I have some great ideas but I'm going to keep you guys hanging for now but I promise I'll fill you in before the new year gets here :)
Now for the subject of this post. I've found some great things on Pinterest lately and want to share some of them with you! I hope you enjoy!

A lot of college students (and ordinary adults as well) can't afford a gym membership, and they might not like exercising in front of others. This is a great alternative!

Isn't it so cute!

I've been drinking a lot of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate lately, with it being a bit chillier out, and this feeds my love of all kinds of mugs! Right now, my mugs are all sitting in a cabinet and this would be a great way to show off the ones I have at such easy access.

I just love the modern cottage look!

Right now I'm using a long clear tub that is awkward to carry. This holder would make lugging gift wrap and all its components back and forth much easier! (Although the link goes to Zulily, I'm sure this is sold in any kind of department store)

This outfit would be perfect for teaching! Stylish yet simple and easy to wear.
Have a great weekend everyone! I know I'll be relaxing and taking some time for myself. My roommate is walking at the graduation commencement ceremony tomorrow morning and I'm so happy for her! Hi Marci! :) Any weekend plans?
